Rudder Compact Standard

In the Compact Standard version, the rudder fitting is screwed to the stern of the kayak. The Compact rudder housing is 2cm shorter than the original housing and is therefore particularly suitable for kayaks whose stern runs close to the water.
The rudder blades are profiled and have a perfect flow shape.
The use of rudder blades of different sizes is possible, they can be exchanged in a few simple steps. The rudder is designed in such a way that it is not possible for the blade to flip over when travelling backwards and the rudder lines cannot become tangled. A downhaul is not required for this rudder; this function is performed by an integrated spring. In the event of grounding, the blade is lifted against the spring force to prevent damage to the rudder and boat.
