Stellar S14S G2 Puffin Sit-on-Top
The S14S G2 is a leisure sit-on-top kayak that makes getting in and out of the water child's play, as there is no need to enter a hatch at all. Unlike other boats of this length, the S14S G2 has the speed of a much longer boat, but can also be paddled comfortably by beginners.
The boat's steering system is also very comfortable and responsive. A rear hatch provides storage space for day trips or short multi-day tours. Its short length and low weight make it ideal for anyone looking for a high-performance boat that is easy to use and transport.

The advantages of the S14S G2 Puffin
The most convincing SOT of its kind
If you're looking for a lightweight sit-on-top kayak for sporty use, you've come to the right place: the Stellar model offers the stability that recreational paddlers want. At the same time, it can be manoeuvred faster than almost any other kayak in this category. The light weight and optimised lower hull play an important role in this. Typical for Stellar, the compact S14S G2 also utilises almost the entire line on the water, which contributes to its speed.
Ergonomic position
Thanks to the adjustable footrests, the Puffin can be adjusted to your own leg length and preferred sitting position. If you prefer to paddle with your legs tucked in, you have plenty of legroom.
Lightweight
At 16 to 18 kilos in a robust carbon/Kevlar layup, the SoT kayaks are very light and therefore easy to handle on your own.
Easy access
Fast entry and exit are an advantage if you have limited manoeuvrability or a slight wave in coastal waters.
Legroom
The open seat area allows for leg work and "pushing off" on the stem board. Comfortable to adjust and also suitable for long legs.
Seating position
Sitting with slightly bent legs and closed knees can be more comfortable than the "frog position" in a classic kayak.
Passive draining
A bilge opening - the so-called bailer - at the lowest point of the cockpit enables passive suction of the spray water that gets into the boat over time.
These points make the S14S G2 Puffin special

.Optional tax possible
The S14S is fitted with a skeg that ensures good directional stability. A rudder can be fitted as an option.
Easy access and comfortable fit
Get in and out at any time without manoeuvring in a closed cockpit
Spacious luggage hatch
The rear accommodates a hatch with a large opening. It is also suitable for transporting luggage for a longer tour.
Skeg
As with the S14 kayak, a skeg is installed that allows the compact boat to be steered very easily. We order the high-quality skegs from Kajaksport as standard.
Long waterline
The S14S tracks almost its entire length on the water.
