Zegul Arrow Play
The Arrow Play model range stands for fun kayaking in rough seas and coastal areas. These sea kayaks are characterised by high stability, manoeuvrability, precise edging and manoeuvrability.
Zegul Arrow Empower
A serious sea kayak for expeditions lasting several weeks. Surprisingly manoeuvrable and glides very well. The hull profile is rounded and the rocker is moderate, making it easy to manoeuvre even in rough seas.
Zegul Arrow Nuka GT
The Nuka GT touring kayak has less rocker and a more inclined bow and stern. This raises the waterline when loaded for longer journeys. It can easily be supplemented with a rudder.
Zegul Arrow Bara
A spacious touring and expedition kayak with high load capacity and easy manoeuvrability. Designed with a spacious cockpit in mind. Suitable for paddlers who need a high-performance touring and expedition kayak.
Greenland

The history of the Zegul & Arrow Kayaks brands: the legend is back!
The Danish kayak company Arrow Kayaks was founded in 2009. The design of the kayaks is based on the idea that a kayak should be an extension of the body. The aim is to achieve an intuitive, natural feel in the water. Like an ‘arrow’, the kayak is designed to extend the body and create a correspondingly harmonious sensation. And it is astonishing how successfully they have managed to put this philosophy into practice!
The Arrow Play, Arrow Nuka and Arrow Empower models were the first to be launched in 2009 and 2010. In the years that followed, further volume variants of the Arrow Play were developed, before the Arrow Nuka GT finally completed the product range. Arrow kayaks were marketed under the ‘Zegul’ brand until 2025.
Arrow Kayaks’ models remain as innovative today as they were when first created and offer a modern, more efficient and more attractive alternative to traditional sea kayaks, particularly those from England. Arrow is a huge success throughout Northern Europe, and we are proud to now distribute these kayaks directly in most other European countries as a partner of the umbrella brand Zegul.
Production in a state of change
The first kayaks were manufactured by Tahe in Estonia, but due to quality issues, production was relocated to the Cobra factories in Thailand. In order to offer faster delivery and kayaks in special colours, parallel production was launched at Charger in Finland.
In 2014, the company was sold to Tahe Outdoors in Estonia. Following several years of declining quality, Tahe Outdoors sold Zegul Kayaks and Arrow Kayaks to the Danish kayak manufacturer Kim Kemp in 2025.
Production was relocated to Szymon Mackiewicz’s factory for WIG Kayaks in Poland. Fundamental changes were introduced there to improve quality: Arrow kayaks now feature the same robust and lightweight lay-up as WIG kayaks. Manufacturing takes place exclusively using the vacuum infusion process with heat curing – the most modern and labour-intensive method for the high-quality production of laminated kayaks.
