Stellar Nomad sea kayak
The Nomad range differs significantly from Stellar's previous range of sea kayaks and replaces the SI18 and SILV models. Stellar's designers have orientated themselves on the more traditional European design with sharp and extended chine edges and rocker. The aim is to improve edge guidance and carving.
This boat is both playful and stable in the surf and is an excellent, fully equipped expedition kayak.
We expect the first models of the Nomad in January, they can be ordered now. The low volume version for people weighing 55 to 80 kg will be available in April. More information and pictures will follow here shortly!

Multisport Plus Layup
The layup of the Nomad has been specifically reinforced to offer more robustness during exercises such as re-entry and to accommodate a sail at the front of the deck.
The keel strip is included as standard on this model. It runs along the entire length of the lower hull and protects the kayak in the exposed area of the bow.
Optimised cockpit
More central position of the seat in the cockpit to make it easier to roll when the seat is reclined. The bulkhead behind the seat is bevelled to make emptying easier
.Second storage compartment
The smaller compartment behind the seat allows access to items during the journey.

.The most important features of the Nomad sea kayak:
The bottom of this sea kayak is designed for playful handling and easy manoeuvrability. Thanks to the built-in skeg, the kayak is also directionally stable in windy conditions. A Smart Track rudder can be added to the KajakSport skeg on request.
The seating position inside the cockpit is more central to enable comfortable rolling on the rear deck.
With a built-in compass holder, three bulkheads, a day hatch in the stern deck, a paddle recess in the stern deck for reattachment and a contoured storage space for spare paddles, this boat will fulfil many wishes of enthusiastic coastal and sea kayakers.
Multisport Plus Layup: Decks and hulls are partially reinforced for tougher use during rescue operations, re-entry and when anchoring sail holders as well as for rock gardening. The keel strip is also standard.
