Cancellation policy
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of cancellation.
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last item.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Lite Venture®, van Roode Eismann GbR, Breisgau Ring 3, 79427 Eschbach, Deutschland, info@liteventure.de, Phone: +49 (0)7634 / 3409871) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You can use the attached sample cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of the cancellation
In the event of an effective cancellation, the services received by both parties must be returned and any benefits derived must be surrendered. If you are unable to return the goods received in whole or in part or only in a deteriorated condition, compensation may be demanded or the return may be refused. This does not apply if the deterioration of the goods is exclusively due to their inspection - as would have been possible for the consumer in a shop, for example.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. The refund will only be made once we have received the goods back. We shall bear the costs of returning the goods that can be returned normally with a parcel service. You bear the direct costs of returning goods that must be returned as bulky goods due to their nature, unless the delivered goods do not correspond to those ordered. For goods that cannot be returned by a parcel service due to their nature, these may amount to €50 to €500, depending on the sender's location and the size and weight. Free returns will not be accepted. Consignments must be packaged well enough to prevent damage during transport. Please inform us in advance of any returns. Test centres are available for test purposes, which enable tests and advice. When ordering online without prior advice, we assume that the customer is familiar with the product or has obtained information about its properties in one of the test centres or as part of a test event. Warranty
In the event of a warranty claim, the rectification of defects shall always take place expressly at the business premises of van Roode, Eismann GbR, Breisgau Ring 3, 79427 Eschbach. In the case of bulky goods such as kayaks, hardboards, roof tents, etc., which cannot be shipped by a parcel service provider, the customer is responsible for delivery and collection for repair, Lite Venture - van Roode, Eismann GbR does not assume any costs for transport.
The right of cancellation does not apply to the following contracts:

We bear the direct costs of returning the goods if the return is made within Germany and can be sent via standard shipping / via a parcel service.
Without prejudice to your statutory rights, you will be provided with free return labels for the return of items that can be sent with a parcel service provider for your return shipment within Germany. If you use these return labels, the return is free of charge for you. The return label will be sent to you by e-mail. You can hand in the return shipment at a parcel shop of the respective provider in Germany.
If you finance this contract with a loan and later cancel it, you are no longer bound by the loan agreement if both contracts form a single economic unit. This is to be assumed in particular if we are also your lender or if your lender makes use of our co-operation with regard to the financing. If we have already received the loan when the cancellation takes effect, your lender will assume our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the cancellation or return. The latter does not apply if the subject of this contract is the acquisition of financial instruments (e.g. securities, foreign exchange or derivatives).
